Class requirements:

As the teacher, I require a table, chair and dry erase board or chalk board.

The classroom area should be large enough to accommodate all of the students comfortably, have good lighting and enough electrical outlets to support all the sewing machines and irons.

I will supply you with supply lists and the students must receive these before class. Students are responsible for their supplies.

If the class is a project class, an original pattern (not a copy) will be required of each student.

I will send a class sample, when I have one available. Samples must be returned in the same condition as they arrived.

I require any group booking me for a lecture or workshop to sign a contract. All the pre-arranged details will be stated in the contract.

LECTURES:

"Color for Quilters"
Amy will bring a full color presentation about how color works (and doesn’t) in quilting. Sure to ease some fears and tickle a few funny bones.

"The Early Days"
How it all started for the Humble Bee. Whether you want to get into the business or just find out what it really takes to get a pattern from idea to the quilter, I think you'll be amazed. I will share some of my first ventures, how I got going and what I really had to learn to publish. I'll bring all the quilts - from beginning to end.

"Why doesn't Mine Look Like Yours?"

What many quilters overlook when piecing a quilt. Let's look at all the reasons why blocks don't measure correctly, quilts don't lay flat and borders are ruffled, just to name a few. Lot's of tips - lots of humor.
